First up debutant Dan"Double Top"Rooke against Mickie"The Brickie". With no one ever seeing double top play, this was going to be a game even mystic meg couldn't predict. As i arrived at "double tops den" the brickie was 2-0 up. Was this going to be the first white wash of the night.....?, No dan pulled one back on his favourite double, you guessed it double top to make it 2-1. The brickie then decided to pummel double top with his kack handed stylee throwing and put to bed the match winning 4-1 leaving the brickie undefeated.
Next up Martin"Scared a You"Hill vs Paul"The Bachelor"Woodall. Not much to report here except that it was a very one-sided affair with the first whitewash of the night, martin taking it 4-0. Pablo's excuse was that Mart played a slow game to which his response was "f%*& off". Pablo has yet to win this year and must now be feeling the pressure.
Third game was the "Clash of the Titans" Bret"The Spears"Gilchrist vs Neal"The Destroyer"Bell. The game the everyone had been waiting for. Well unfortunately for brett he could of waited a little longer as Neal DESTROYER-ED him 4-0 setting up the second whitewash of the evening. With Neal finding himself more of a hate figure every week, this man can only be thinking how long before he is attacked with a dart.
Forth match of the night saw Rich"Shmo-key"Goldsmith against Jase"The Hammer"Holtby. Another one sided tale with Rich "forgetting" his darts AGAIN had to play with some pretty unfimiliar arrows. With Rich still to register a win this was a season turn around if he could beat the hammer, but it wasn't to be bowing down 4-0. This was the third whitewash of the night. Jase unlickily missed double top by 3mm to equal Neals leading 116 finish, but as they say so close, so far!
Martin vs Dan was the fifth game. With Dan only playing one match upto now, it was upto him to make the league stand and take note. He certainly did that by drawing 3-3 with this years underachiever Martin. Thre was one bright moment for Mart, double top for a 117 finish, but he ballsed it up and was MILES AWAY!
Belly vs Pablo next, could Belly crumble to the bachelor, Not a chance. On form champion and this years hate figure won convincingly 4-0 to record his 8th match undefeated. NOB!
Jase vs mickey. Tight game this Jase going 2-0 up and with no sign of the shakes thought he was gonna hameer the brickie to bits but the brickie came back to lead 3-2. The hammer shaking like Japanese building, managed to win the last to equal the game and land himself second place in the league. Mickey still undefeated has a chance to go second with his game in hand!
