York Thursday Night Premier League Darts Competition

The TNPLD FA Cup of Darts
The “Pat Reeve” Memorial Trophy
Friday 20 May 2011
Holgate WMC

This competition provides a different challenge to the normal league format, no seedings no favourites and a complete lottery (hopefully).

Preliminary Round – The current top 4 in The TNPLD will be drawn in the Preliminary Round which will be 1 leg of 1001 down. This will promote two players to the first round proper, however, and heres the twist, those two players will compete against each other for a place in the semi-final.

Round 1 – The bottom six players in TNPLD will contest round 1 with the top four having their own battle for a solitary semi-final spot. First round matches in this part of the draw will be a single leg of 701 down.

Semi-Final – All remaining players will be drawn at random and each semi-final will be a single leg of 1001 down.

Final – The Final will again be a single leg of 1001 down with the winner taking the Pat Reeve Trophy and the accolade of being the inaugural winner of The TNPLD FA Cup of Darts.
